They both sit in your car with a computer, drive it around, and tune it... My vote is for whoever is easiest to get to come to your town... I have Al's tune, and he was a great guy (tuned my car basically 3 times cuz of bad gas issues, course I had to put 500 miles on my car in 2 days to run out of the gas twice) but honestly, I went with him because he was coming from research it seems to me that too many people prefer both. I can't wait till COBB finishes their AccessECU for the Evo, then I can just get my Evo tuned locally whenever I want instead of needing 8 people.

I have dynoflash, but really, I'm still waiting Al's reply about the 2 step ecu flash.

when are you ever going to offer that to custom tuned customers?

I haven't gotten turbo trix, because I needed a flash fast, and Al happen to be where I was, so I got it.

I do sorta regret getting it, since the problem I had was related to Fuel pump and not anything else.

For $300, i could of gotten a pocket logger and did it myself with safc ii, and know exactly what's going on with my car, instead of Al saying, "It's good".

But I haven't had any problems with Al's flash with my mods.

So what's the difference between turbotrix flash and Al's flash?

The way they do it or the program they use?

I will say this, both are GREAT tuners and respectable individuals, I would get a tune based on convenience and location as oposed to preference. You can't go wrong with either and they will both treat you with respect. Both Al and Mark know whats up.

I used to have the mail-in fireball 3 from Dynoflash and it was great.. Now I have a TT custom flash and I'm very happy with it also (check my sig) both worked flawlessly.
You can’t go wrong with either tuner it’s just a bit frustrating to get a hold of Al, but I can understand why. He is a ONE man team..

At least no one is trying to flame the other, thats good!
My experience is with Dynoflash with 320 whp in this hot island, I ran 12.2@111 with mix of C16 and 93 octane @24 psi. This hot island is soo damn hot, did I said hot? Its HELLISH HOT and most of our cars didnt make the horsepower they were expecting, but the only flashed guy who took his car to the track to make some serious numbers was me, others went to the track and ran good numbers but so far Im winning Nah seriously I have no problems with Al's tuning I can recommend him anytime. We'll see what happens in the future if I decide to go with a bigger turbo.

Got Al's custom tune in DC - powerful and smooth. I loved it. Dealership in Vegas reflashed my ECU w/o my permission, so I was back to stock. Got Al's mail-in, got all the power back but not as smooth - 297whp/291tq. Custom tuned by TT, got back all the smoothness - 298whp/292tq. Same dyno, same day. Both are good in my book.
