I didn't change the intake
it's still stock air box

the whistle noise sounds like a vacum machine sucking up air instead of bov letting air out

DUDE! I didn't even think about this, the WR makes a high pitched whistle and is particularly noisy when moving air at higer rpms

ok, im talking about where the compressor side of the turbo bolts to the pipe....is that the same thing you are talking about?

Ive never replaced my lower intercooler piping, so i don't know what upgraded ones come with....does the helix one come with a new pipe that bolts directly to the turbo?

well, there should be a gasket there. If its the stock hard pipe coming off the turbo then there should DEF be a gasket there.

i don't see how helix could make a pipe that wouldn't need a gasket there either(if they even replace that piece).

did you unbolt that pipe from the turbo when you replaced your lower intercooler piping, and bolt it back to the stock turbo...or did you do the lower IC piping with the new turbo?

What psi r u boosting? I had the same noise with another turbo upgrade. I swap to a stiffer spring in my Forge bov then the noise went away. Maybe your bov can't handle the higher boost with the WR.

he said it starts making that noise at 1psi, doesn't sound like a faulty BOV to me.

My bad, you're right, if it start at 1 psi then maybe some line is leaking or WR's tail is wagging. LOL...
