Spark Plug Removal

Anybody having problem removing their spark plug with Sears socket. I tried to remove spark plug with 5/8 spark plug socket and it will not fit into the hole. ANyone has the same problem, does it required a thinner socket?

i think the 13/16 is the one thats too big. Either the 5/8 is too small or its the one. I took a quick glance at my tools and those are the only 2 i see. I can't remember, i just knew the one i had was too big

13/16th's is what I've been using.. I'm not sure if it's the exact one but it's worked fine.

yes, it is. Just tried it.(it was buggin me). I remember now, wheni changed mine, the one i was using wouldn't go onto the spark plug(too small).

the 13/16 barely fits in the hole, but it fits the plug! Sorry for the confusion

I'm not sure what brand mine is but they make one that is a little thinner.. it also has a piece of felt inside with a hole so you can pull your plugs out with it.. pretty nice you just have to be carefull.

it's the same size as your wheel bolts but with the rubber spark plug holder inside...

13/16 spark plug socket fits perfect into the spark plug hole. making it air tight for it to go in and out without shaking the plugs.
