Idle Adjustment

I read a few posts about adjusting idle fo such things as cams or crappy idle. From what I have read, it's on the throttle body near the firewall. But can someone post a picture of the adjustment screw for idle and give me some peace of mind lol ?

its on the top facing upward it looks like a hole you need to put a philps screw driver in it and turn it counter clock wise to move the idle up. sounds like u need a flash though

I dont have any pics, but if look at the throttle body from the front of the car, at the backend of the TB you will see a round hole that is slightly angled towards the fire wall, in that hole is where the idler screw is at. Just use one of those stubbly/mimi short phillips head screw drivers to change the idle. turning it clockwise will lower your idle turing it counter clcokwise will raise your idle.

Number 4 on the diagram. This adjustment can be taken too far and may be a band-aid for an underlying issue.

I'm not sure about the Evo's but if you adjust the idle screw doesn't the TPS calibration go off?
And recalibrating it is a complicated process. I know I messed up my Supra like that.

Its actually an air bypass, so it shouldn't alter the TPS Position by adjusting it.. But like Jamie said, it isn't the solution to all idle problems and care should be taken to make sure its not another issue you are ending up masking by raising idle speed.
