The one FP currently sells has the older wastegate hole design. I heard they are gonna start selling the 05 style ones once their inventory of old style wastegates deplete.

So Jamie, are you guys selling the older style wastegate hotsides or the newer ones? The picture on your website shows the older style one. Have you guys done any testing to note if there are any performance differences between the two?

Mark,
We have the older style here now. Others are arriving, but not sure if they're new/old. Once we have both, we'll be better able to compare them. I've read the tech info from Mitsu on the design variation and it looks good on paper. We'll see if it WORKS in the real world

Here you go. Got this from Jamie's NorCalEVO gallery.

From the description, it sounds like the 05 style wastegate helps low end better. I'm guessing that the new wastegate design enables the exhaust path to the turbine wheel to be shaped for better flow.

Nope. The wastegate valve comes w/ the hotside. They are not interchangable either since the path up to the valve will be shaped differently.
