As we say every single time, DO A SEARCH. This has been asked a thousand times, and there are TONS of people with all the parts you have mentioned. The Injen Intake has been used by many, MANY people (unfortunately) as a first mod along with a BOV (unnecessarily) for years. If you are interested in comments related to the Injen, then go to the "search" box and type "injen intake" or simply "injen."

Now, if these are your first mods, I would highly recommend AGAINST doing an intake and BOV first, because they are expensive and not very helpful. You will need a tune (flash/safc/xede) of some sort just in order for these mods to work properly and not LOSE power.

If you are interested in alternative uses of your money, I would suggest a boost gauge, MBC, and exhaust in that order. Then, if you go with a hard pipe kit and/or intake, do them both at the same time as a flash, otherwise it will be a waste.

No, do a search. If you don't know what a flash is, then why are you already asking about getting an Injen intake and BOV? More and more people are moving from Hondas to Evos and thinking that these are the first two mods, which is causing our community to appear increasingly ricey. Do your homework...this car is an amazing machine and is capable of FAR MORE with only a few, choice mods. Be sure you know what you're doing before committing to expensive parts that look fast, but that aren't fast. Who/what gave you the idea of doing an Injen Intake (w/piping) and BOV to begin with?

Since Warrtalon is being an a**hole I'll try to help you out.

An intake is generally a poor first mod because for one, the stock intake is very nice and can make huge power. If you swap to a new intake, you will need a reflash, which is when someone remaps your stock ECU changing the timing and air to fuel ratio's so your car doesn't run lean.

A BOV is not a bad first mod, it just has to be the right one. The APS BOV is the only one that I would suggest. Check the vendor forums to order one.

warrtalon is always an a**hole . anyways, for bov i suggest the HKS ssqv, exhaust, u shuld save some money buddy. With hks you are paying for the name. If you want a nice free flowing exhaust for a cheap price, i see alot of good from david buschur and his products. Personally i like the angled exit exhaust style, so i am going with the RSR exhaust especially if i can get it for 250 bucks. Here is my suggestion for you

- RS-R, good prices if you look around.
- RS-R Downpipe (also has a cat delete)
- Apexi S-AFC II with a good tune ( remapping ecu as mooreboost stated)
- HKS cams, 264/272 if you want good even power, 264/264 for low end, and 272/272 if u want top end.
- MBC (hallman,turboXS)
- Walbro 255 lph fuel pump
- Fidanza Cam Gears
- APR head studs ( no so sure on this, but to run cams, this can help to keep the engines reliablity)
- Then, go with intake (injen, helix, hks) and a harpipe kit (injen, helix)

this should cost you around 34-4100 with a good tune, and labor. not sure

just my .02

for soem good bov clips , got to www.blowoffvalves.com

u dont even own your evo yet? Get a works drop in filter...... and either an mr dv valve or an aps bov.... cant go wrong with either one of those. if u want the greddy r u trying to vent it to the atmosphere if so your car will run like ****

Most people mail their ECU's to a few different companies for reflashing.

Probably the two most popular are www.dynoflash.com and www.turbotrixracing.com , they are both here on the boards to answer any questions.
