you can get it ported and coated no prob... might wanna do a core exchange type so you don't have too much downtime, i believe buschur offers it.

for how expensive that thing is... you shouldn't have to port it or coat it... they should have it come that way already.

which is why i say get the dnp cuz it's lighter and as long as yer usin' yer stock mani nothing is gonna break. no need to port, just coat it... and it costs half as much as that thing, and you can't exactly say dnp is bad quality.

you know while you have it all out you should port and polish and coat everything so you don't have to pull the radiator too many times. i suggest doing everything i said above at the same time, unless you wanna do before and after stuff. but honestly... it's not worth it, haters will always be haters, dynos are the bane of my existence. just know that your car is fast and efficient and you don't have to prove jack**** to anyone else.

I completly forgot that Megan Racing sells a 3" o2 house that will bolt up perfectly to my DP. I think its around $180 or so. That along with a ported and coated stock manifold like the one in the thread above and a 10.5 hotside is the way I am going to go. efficent and reliable.

The megan racing is a 2.75 or a 2.5 inch, not a full 3. You don't really need to port the works housing. Coating it is fine. Also, the Turbo XS pipe seemed similar to the Works. Can't speak about any others though since I haven't seen them.

How is the Megan a 2.75inch when it bolts up to the 2.5inch downpipes with donut gasket.... it has to be 2.5inch?

It seems the Helix, Megan, SS-autochrome, and Pro-1 02 housings are EXACTLY the same thing, anyone else notice this?

You think the Works 02 housing will fit with the TXS DP?

I asked the same question about my downpipe - just by looking at the diameter of the picture I don't think so - therefore we're looking at not only the housing, but the downpipe as well.

All Headers are not the same. SS Autochrome has terrible fitment issues and crack with ease. I have yet to see a DNP crack and the one i had never cracked and i ran it for about a years time. Would still have it if i didn't got with a full garrett setup. DNP also comes with braces already welded on. Remember, you get exactly what you pay for with aftermarket manifolds.
