HELP!!!...car wont start

Ok, this might sound like a stupid question, but my car wont start.....anyway, my question is, if my fuel pump is not working, will the ECU throw a code for that?

A Mitsu tech, check the ECU looking for a code...nothing...everything seems fine

The fuel pump is a walbro 255

Thanks in advance

Define won't start? Does the engine still crank? Smell any fuel to the engine? Check the two fuses in the engine, check the fuelp pump installation, and put the stock fuel pump back and see.

The fuel pump was installed like 6 months ago...no smell, and it has worked great...but the engine still crank. The thing is that the car was starting fine when i left it there ( i left the car there to fix the calipers paint that were pealing off, and to replace my wing... the middle carbon fiber section clear coat was pealing off 2) ...so,the car didnt start when it was in the shop. I will go tomorrow with a friend of mine who is a mechanic, to see if he can help cause this guys are doing sh*t, and i dont trust them that much

I called 2 days ago and they told me that they were going to change the spark plugs to see if it starts ( to me this is BS cause if the spark plugs are bad, lets say 1 or 2, they car will still start, i think, but will run like crap...so 2 days have gone by and i have not heard a word from them...2 days to change spark plugs???....NFW....i can do it in 5 minutes...hell....even my grandma can do it ...so i dont know...something is not right here, will keep you posted

Thanks guys for the help, i really apreciate it

You said it bro....the car was running fine when i left it there....and they didnt call me...i had to call them, to see if my car was ready....and they told me is not ready cause the car doesnt start...obviously they are trying to fix it...but there not doing there best, there going at a very slow pace and thats what worries me

My biggest concern right now if that maybe they took it for a spin and ****ed something up in the engine...if thats the case, and i hope not....they better get me a new one, cause i wont accept a rebuild motor....but, lets just hope this is not the case....they are not more VIII where i am from ( Puerto Rico ), so they better get me one from the states...anyway, this is a worst case scenario, so, lest just hope this doesnt happend cause it might be a big pain in the ***, and i have spend a lot of money on my car, that i know i am going to loose

The Fuel Pump is not covered by Mitsus warranty, cause is a Walbro, duh!...but damn....something is weird here.

I had a fuel pump harness wire work it's way out of the plug... the car just died going around the corner. When just looking at it, you could not tell because it did not fall all the way out. I ended up replacing the short harness in the pump/filter assembly and all was well.
