Fixed the actuator last night, it raised the boost. I haven't got a chance to pull the log from the car and see what it actually was on the EMS or how it held.

from what i read the upgrades on the evo IX turbo is a bigger compressor housing to help reduce lag. supposed to start spooling at 2500rpms. and also the the IX turbo is supposed to have a lighten turbine wheel too. should be a nice turbo when it comes out. just imagine what dave and the other guyz can do with it.

it really think this turbo should have the same power potential of the TME.

The actual volume of the compressor housing hasn't increased that much (it does look much bigger however). Also, I don't think the US is getting the ti/al turbine wheel. We may possibly get the magnesium compressor wheel, though.

The EVO 9 will have a few more features to help with spoolup. Specifically, mapping to lean the vehicle out in the lower rpm band for initial spool up.
Various stages of ignition and fuel.
It should be fun.

ya the wheel is made of aluminium and some other light material. so its should be on par or close to the TME. the compessor housing is like 20% bigger than the 03-05's

ya can u give us some figure of this turbo on just pump gas wit no alky or aem ems. with just the basic bolt-ons like; TBE, intake, cams, bigger FMIC, and injectors. and compare it to a 05 evo turbo, TME, and WR. i think that will help a lot of us see what i can really do. cuz i dont plan on using alky or gettin an EMS anytime soon.

thanks DAVE for all the hardwork ur doing
