just run around 19-20 psi and you should be alright.....watch out for the winter though....the colder it gets the highers you're boost will spike. I had this issue myself hitting the boost cut on very cold days.

Depending on the amount of mods you get and the boost you are running it might be a good idea to get a Walboro 255 upgraded fuel pump...this with ensure that you are not leaning out your fuel mixture too much at higher RPMs. Goodluck!

Turning the MBC down is safer than turning it up if you don't know what's going on with the AF ratio. An AF gauge is a good way to see what's up. Lean is bad. Very bad.

It is possible that you could be running lean.

There's a few ways to deal with that. The SAFC 2 is one good tool for
adjusting your a/f ratios, with a wide band sensor installed, a datalogger
you can do a lot.

There's tons of information about electronic engine management. The more
you can gain understanding the better your Evo will run.

I'm learning myself... and learn more as time goes on.
This forum is a library of information.

A cat-back and a BOV is not a setup. You are not running lean. Evos run crazy rich above 5k rpm under boost.
