Yea but bbyevo8u has a Aem short ram intake also.
Wouldn't that lean it out some ?

He only said a "TI catback and GFB BOV." Yes, an open element intake would lean things out and would be worth checking out, but not so much for the sake of danger, but rather for the sake of running well/making more power.

It would be interesting too see a baseline dyno pull first,
and than a tuned dyno pull. Both with a/f readings.

Ok let me try to explain this to you... Your car was boosting pretty good Stock.. You add the exhaust and intake= loose a couple psi, but yopu don't notice it from the power adition. Now with the MBC you have added the boost the car wants. And also with a boost controller the Boost will come on much quicker and last longer..... Spooling to full boost at higher RPM's is called turbo lag= not good for power. the sooner to full boost the better.
Have fun.... its a good thing.
i didnt see anyone flaming posts... not even edited posts. maybe they were deleted? Or they were from another thread?

just remember one thing... dont feel safe because some bozo says "its fine", that bozo wont be paying for your repair if you melt your pistons. without a tune, get a fuel pump if you wanna keep the boost at 19 psi. even then dont be going WOT at redline for long durations, your EGT(exhaust gas temp) will rocket up and you will at minimum, melt your rear bumper. to sum it up, there is NO substitute for a flash or piggyback

If you want to fix that problem - there is a very small hole somewhere in your boostcontroller, drill that out to 1.5mm. That will fix the part throttle issues.
