272 or 280's with dynoflash?

Ok i just installed a set of 272's on my boys 05, he has a few basic mods and dynoflash mail in. The car runs flawless, no stalls and honestly you cant tell the cams are even there (besides the sound) untill you get the huge power hit. So I'm not seeing a down side here with going 272's instead of 264's. So whats the gains with 280's on dynoflash? is it even possable? Also the cams to me are only used in drag racing, I dont do road course so low rpm power is not a huge issue. But i dont want to take the motor past the stock rev limit as i have a stock head.

I'm going to drop in the 280's in about six weeks. I'd like to know others opinions as well.

im sure with 280's u would need new valvetrain so u could rev up to 8k and use the full potential of the new cams. it wouldnt hurt.

So, you have 272s that idle like stock without cam gears and on a basic mail-in flash? That would worry me...
