Are you interested in BR500 or Buschur GT30R kit? They are totally different, and the BR500 is no longer available. Here is a thread with some pics of my BR GT35R installation. I think they are identical in looks to the GT30R externally. Dave is also now moving to a different setup for the GT30R and GT35R that will be different than mine.

Thanks for the response....I really need the BR500 as I have a car in the shop that needs some pipe changes and I wanted to see how David intended it to be or if the installer made some errors...
Any further help will be much appreciated

I have a BR500bb (GT30R), I am putting it back together tonight (changed over to studs for the turbo to mani bolts). What pics do you need an I will get them, ie: turbo on bench, on car, from below, above? Let me know and I will get them for you tonight.

I really want pics of the whole kit installed including pipework....I am not sure if this is a complete Buschur kit or just the turbo with some cobbled together pipework....If it has been assembled with the latter I will need to order the parts needed from Buschur
I think I need to re-do the whole system...
the car came in with, amonst other things, a 1g blowoff valve venting to atmosphere on a MAF car and I am sure this is not how David intended it to be....
Thanks in advance for any help you can give as I am not too familiar with Buschur components..

I will get them tonight for you. I know unless he is running some sort of device to compensate for VTA there will be some real problems doing that on a maf.

but I was wondering if the type S bov is holding the boost you're running. DO you have both springs? Any stalling issues.

Thanks.

She holds great, I ran a 12.01 on the small spring and stock turbo. With the BR500 on I now have the large spring in set at 3 turns and it has held to 30 psi so far. I think the car did drive a little better on the small spring but with the alky I am running 26 for daily use and didn't know if the small spring would hold.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I bought a type s knock-off but was afraid it would not hold 25 psi with the spring mod and with both springs in I was afraid of the stalling so I did not put the bov in yet. I hate to drill the 1g flange and find out the type s will cause issues. I went ahead and bought the forge rs bov. I hope this bov will hold the boost and no stalling or else I'm back to square 1 .

Thanks.

If you drill the flange like I did you can swap back and forth from the Type-S to 1g with no problem.

I'm guessing you can use rtv to plug the new holes?
