keep blowing engine fuses

My freinds car (ultimate cc) keeps blowing the engine fuse.

I was woken up at 4am the other night to pick him up on the side of the highway because he was driving and the car turned off. After getting the car back to the shop we found it to be a blown fuse in the engine fuse box.

We changed the fuse and the car started right up. Today he called me and on his way to work and the fuse blew 3 more times.

Any ideas what can be doing this?

car is a 2005 with only 2700 miles
car only has HKS intake and full turbo-back exhaust.

That happened to me once when I drove thorugh a huge puddle. Thought I hydrolocked the motor, but it was a fuse. I think it inadvertently caused a bad ground which killed the fuse. He should go through the engine bay and check the grounds.

that makes sense cuz he put in a mechanical cel fix that extends the sensor out like 1 inch that causes it to rub on the floor board.
