New Buschur Lower IC Pipe
New Buschur Lower IC Pipe
It's in!
I received my new Buschur LICP on Thursday. I needed a coupler to install and was able to borrow one from Nick at Precision Dyno on Saturday so I could get the car running instead of waiting for the coupler to arrive from Buschur via UPS.
This thing is Nice! Welds are top notch and the design of the pipe is definitely shorter then the others out there. It is also 2.5" all the way to the turbo discharge and uses a 1.75 to 2.5 transition at the turbo discharge.

It's all new. I wanted one so I talked to David about it and he agreed to start making them to fit with the stock intercooler, due to demand.
They are up on Buschur's site now.

No, I don't have a specific pic of that because it's too difficult to get in there for a pic.
It's straight forward though, nothing tricky to the turbo discharge connection.

I guarantee David will sell dozens more copies if it allows for more universal fitment.
It's NOT a criticism, but a suggestion.
Yes he would sell a bunch of them if he made them fit wider fmic's. I got my UR to fit my "std" Buschur fmic just fine but it took a while to figure out which couplings would work for the best fitment.

Could be a little cheaper also

Oh and they do make a LICP for their standard IC it's called the deluxe IC.

There is more difference to them than that. The std is a little different design that will fit under the undertray with no modification. That is the main reason I bought the std. It doesn't sit as low as the deluxe. To run in SCCA solo II SP you can run a bigger fmic but you can't modify or remove the undertray. I guess I should've got the deluxe afterall though considering I'm going to be running SM soon
