Well, I wouldn't expect him to come on here saying he tuned the car too aggressively (not saying he did that).

Well, I dynoed at Harman Motive and my graph is pretty smooth. Dan also tuned the car. http://www.socalevo.net/gallery/albu...14/my_dyno.jpg
(Sorry for the image cutoff. The dotted red line = 11 on the A/F graph.)

At the top right of your graph where it says SAE Smoothing it got cut off.
I'm curious as to what it stated.

Please check if you can and post.
Thanks

that is why yours looks smooth and Kilterman's graph looks choppy. His graph is at SAE Smoothing 0

Anyway good looking graph IS2000

Do you plan on running 100 or 104 on a consistant basis? You must be driving to Santa Fe Springs and getting it from the pump at Cosby Oil.

Seems the common consensus is that I am not making the power I should be. Any advise?

Have Dan e-mail your graphs to you. Go to the Dyno-jet web site and download their free viewer.

Study it to learn how to read your maps features.

Many tuners set their dynos up differently so look at your un-corrected numbers.

When someone says you look down on power with a similar set-up, have them send you their dynojet graphs and compare UNCORRECTED numbers. Not SAE, not STD, not DIN, just uncorrected.

Then look at temperature, humidity, altitude as these factors will alter results.

I dyno'd at Dan's yesterday testing same octane, different brands (VP and F and L). At first I thought my car was down 14 whp from my VP numbers on another dynojet. When I checked the uncorrected numbers, they were almost identical (F and L was actually up 4 whp) when factoring in 11 degrees cooler, 20% more humidity, and 900 ft in elevation.

All of this was do to the way the shops have the dynos set up.

It's a way for you to sift through results. Try it and see if it sheds some light.

thanks for the advice, The graphs are on here already and show a distinct dip at or around the 3.5k mark. Alot of people beleive this to be pulled timing.

To start off with, you might want to thread search and look at other dyno-jet graphs. I think you will find the stock turbo drops there anyway.

Here are a couple: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...&page=11&pp=15

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/at...chmentid=70516

If you only have a printout of your graphs, get the file and set it to "uncorrected". Find someone with similar mods them lay them over as uncorrected whp.

Dyno Jets have a "hump" characterstic with spool-up. What you are seeing may just be what your set-up does normally.

Dan's dyno may read low because of his software settings and there may be nothing wrong with your car. When he dyno'd my car, he had the altitude set to 4500 ft. He's at 89 feet above sea level. Hence, I suggest the uncorrected hp as an apples for apples.

The reflash software Dan uses is supported by a distributor very close to him and I think he has a good handle on the flash tuning.
