help with type-rs bov setup

I just installed a Greddy Type-RS with the recirculaton adapter.

Following another member's advice, i went ahead and did the single spring mod. it seemed like it was going to be too loose, so i put the adjuster in 5 turns from first contact.

now, if i take it up to full boost and let off the gas sharply, i get a large jerk-bump type sensation, with a noise i cannot describe, other than a large 'bump'. i can feel it between hard shifts also.

I was just wondering if anyone knew what this might be. i'm assuming the bov is either too tight or too loose, but i have no experience with them so dont know which way to go. i will do some different things this weekend, but maybe someone else knows what this is and will save me some time.

thanks!

sounds to me that its too tight... try loosening it. Adjustable BOV's become finnickey until tuned just right

My RS works perfectly with both springs in place.

it really all depends for some reason.. some ppl can have both springs in, and it stumbles like a ****..others can run both springs w/ no prob...its weird. I'm going MAP sensor in 2 weeks with an AEM EMS..so thank god..no more worrying about recirc

I'm still trying to figure out how to install recirc. The kit brought 2 T's. I don't know which one to use. If I VTA all I need to do is run the vacuum to the BOV right? Help me someone please.
