I have the same exact BOV. Take off the top half of the hat, where the set screw sits.....remove the inner spring on the unit and reassemble. Its designed to be adjustable like that. The turn the set screw almost all the way out. Good to go, works better than any other BOV Ive used.

By screwing all the way out, don't you have flattering problem with the BOV?

I have the same BOV and have been having a few problems like those you have stated above. I am going to try your fix tomorrow.

?: Have any of you found the pin size hole in the back of the BOV? Is it suppose to be there? The hole looks as if Greddy put it there on purpose.

I was curious to know if this could be the culprit to some of my problems.

try adjusting the screw
too tight it will flutter for sure.
Too loose, it will stumble when you let off the gas.

Anyone notice the pin size hole in the back of it though? Just curious if it's suppose to be there.

I plan to test the removal of the small screw method and screwed almost all the way out.

i got my RS installed today and when i took the car for a spin, my engine stalled once and twice RPM drops really low. i was reading the manual and it says out of factory, the stiffness is set to the softest. so should i screw it harder or usually softer would resolve this issue? and on the manual they say to loosen the M6 nut first, but which nut should i tighten/loosen to harden it after loosening the M6 nut? picture explanation would be great. thanks.

For boost levels under 25 psi, the single (outer) spring is all you need. Start with the adjustment screw all the way out and then slowly tighten it until you can hold the amount of boost you want (i.e. tighten, then test drive, then tighten again, etc.). Even with a single spring you can go too tight, and it'll flutter, hence the above approach...

is this bov alot quieter then the type-s, b/c when i accelerated it made some weird sound and it sounded like the bov. I opened it and took out the smaller spring and turned it 3 rotations and put it back on, im running about 7psi, that nipple on the side of it, that should have the vac hose on it right? im re-cirulating but this bov, im not sure if its working w/ this car, im jus double checking. are ur guys loud or quiet? it was fluttering alot until i did the spring thing, but the bov doesnt really make a "psssst" sound and thats what i thought greddys are famous for so im jus checking to make sure my stuff is working

thanks!
