NO, you didn't adjust it too far. It looks about like mine, if it isn't shorter(i had less thread showing i think)

I don't know how you are shifting, so i can't really help you. I just know before i adjusted the pedal, mine grinded and wouldnt' go into 3rd doing fast shifts at high RPMs. Now it does(or atleast the 2 times i tried yesterday)

Less thread showing means that you adjusted it higher. I have problems quick shifting at high RPM going into 2nd and 3rd.

Thanks.

for fluids i highly recommend the mitsubishi diamond lube.... (5 gallon bucket stuff) it works better then syncromesh (pennzoil or GM ....same thing) . Additionally adjusting the rod length is a bandaid. even when i went to my triple disc and the clutch needed adjustment cause the enagement was on the floor it still shifted great at high rpms.... now that its adjusted its just that much better and can now be slipped poperly. Do yourself a favor....***** at them to get your tranny gone through (do the tsb's and look for wear) then fix the TC. Pay the money and at the same time have them install a exedy twin or cusco twin (same ).

Thanks for the info. mitsubishi diamond lube?? Is this stock fluid and this is not the fluid that goes in the TC correct? Maybe next time around.

With the mods that I have I'm almost sure that my warranty is voided. Looks like my tranny might be heading to TRE when I can spare the $$$. I hope this will fix the issue. Another clutch will be on back of my mind as well.

I have a clutchmasters stage 3 in my '03 and have had the slow/hard shift issue being described here. The beginning of engagement was right at the floor so I adjusted the pedal. It's been so long I'm not sure that the pic above was it. I thought the nut, etc. was different but I'll take a closer look. With the research tonight I'm resolved to adjust the hell out of it to try to fix the problem. It's keeping me from higher-speed auto-X's and skipped the last group dragstrip trip. This can't continue. I'd hate to get a new clutch (twin, etc.) or do the tranny work but, dammit, I'm gonna do what I have to...

Subscribing to this thread and will post my results here. Thanks all for the discussions.

yes it is the factory fluid in the tranny and what i run once i got mine redone by the guy at my shop that does all the trannies. He had it done in a morning ....amazing. start to finish with all the new parts for me. get a twin or triple disc exedy and a tranny refresh (should only run about $800 or so for the tranny job).
