I thought the WR used the same shaft but different compressor wheel. I could be wrong though. I do remember reading that an English guy ordered a WR and had it converted to a BB section.

So essentially, the WR is an upgrade of the compressor wheel which is of the same size as the stocker but of different design? Do you know what material is the WR wheel made of?

It's a five blade design. There's more "room" near the shaft, so it can flow more air at higher rpms (after 4500 to 5000 or so).

FP said in another thread that the shaft was different...smaller diameter I believe.

we tested the white rabbit and found the same as everyone else did . a garrett bb core will just add to the misery of the units lack of performance . what you guy need is the new mag turbo from the evo 9 . we just ran get this

exhaust
air filter
fuel pump
and a ecutek reflash
@ 1.4 bar

296 hp atw's on a dyno dynamics . with plenty more to come

evoultion is upon us once again .!!!!

I'm in the process of a write up to be posted later tonight as to what I've experienced the "problem" to be that people are having with the WR turbo.

WR turbo

I am very happy with the way my car was performing on sunday at the track.I was granny launching my car 2.2 60 ft' and was pulling 117.2 mph 12.4 times.I was the white RS 05 talking with all the evo guy's in the line.It was a really great day but it went by so fast.I was eliminated in the third round caused I bog stalled at the line.I was blowing past STI's mid track I loved it.Go WR!!!

I'd like to see this also. I haven't had one problem with my WR. Now that I have a wideband hooked up in my car 24/7 I can log all the time and go back and fine tune the car. Here is a small bit of a log that was done today. My AFR's are still very rich. I wish I could find a log all the way through redline, maybe ill log one up tomorrow for all of you.
