evo 8 intake manifold on a dsm head???

evo 8 intake manifold on a dsm head???
well i'm wanting to get a mighty max and do a head swap and turbo the truck. i was wanting to know if the intake from the evo would bolt on to the 2g dsm head. i figured it would be easier and better to bolt on the evo manifold b/c i wouldn't have to worry about cutting up and rewelding one of my spare manifolds. here is a pic of what i'm talking about.

Nope. The evo intake will not work on the DSM head. On DSMs, the injectors mount to the head whereas on the evo, the injectors mount to the intake manifold. The shape of the intake ports on the EVO head has a groove for the manifold mounted injectors.
