Unhappy Blown Gasket! Picture
Well, this is what happens when you don't properly tighten all your nuts and bolts on a new exhaust system:

I didn't tightne all the hardware properly, and KAPOW! Blown header/turbo gasket.

Actually, that's what happens when you run the cheap gaskets that come with the header rather than OEM quality...

THat is (obviously) not an OEM gasket. Don't see that happening with the OEM.

Nope, it's not the OEM gasket. Yep, it was cheap. In fact my exhaust has been my first 'cheap' mod. Suffice it to say; you really do get what you pay for. Live and learn.

Actually, the header quality really doesn't make much of a difference. All tubulars will crack ultimately.

Not much worse than a cheap roll-cage though
