Odd situation with coolant gauge .. Please help..!!!

I have a very odd situation with my stock coolant gauge... When idle the gauge show a little less than half way, when acceleration it drops a little, and when deceleration it goes all the way down to the C (cold) possition... I noticed this problem just yesterday, and I don't since when it is doing this..
I don't know what could be the problem, the thermostat..? the coolant sensor..?? the gauge..?
Please help..!!

Just in case my mods are in my sig..

Miguel

just shooting in the dark here: maybe there's an air pocket in ur cooling system? try to bleed the cooling system and then ad more coolant.

yeah that makes no sense...take it to the dealer and tell them to fix it...my guess would be the sensor...the thermostat wouldnt make it do that. Gotta be either the sensor or the gauge or an electrical connection between the two.

I did the bleeding.. no luck.. the situation still the same..

Next thing is talk to the dealer, but with my mods, let see what they have to say about it.

Thanks for the comments..

I was thinking about the same... I located the sensor, it is in front of the throttle body, just aside of the battery...
Looks like it is a problem for us guys down here in the Islands..
Please just let me know...
