Buscher racing is not best buy or circut city, where if you find a better price or the price changes within 30 days, they will give you the difference. I paid $400.00 for my cell phone...6 mos later it is $99.00. You have to pay to be one of the 1st to get somthing cutting edge!

Not cool to ask this in a public forum. The only reason to do this publicly would be to put David on the spot and try to force his hand. Otherwise, you could have (and should have) just picked up the telephone and asked, or PM'd him.

I agree with you on this point if you want to be the first to have something you will always pay more but it still s*cks.

Agreed, I was just venting due to the recent price drop. If it wasn't for people to go out and test these things people would have no idea how they perform

The price on the new TME has been $1500, not $1550. I didn't lower the price on my own, I was offered better pricing on the TME units as a base if I bought more of them, which I did.

I didn't do this to sell more or "undercut" anyone else. I made an investment in buying more units at a time and the savings I made for myself I am passing along with lower pricing to you guys.

Needless to say, there won't be any refunds for guys that bought them at $1500.

BTW, at 22-23 psi of boost my RS ran two passes of 124 mph last night at the track on race gas, with this 20G, non TME.

Back on topic, what was your ET on those runs. I am making the power w/ this turbo I just can't get it to the ground (slipping clutch). Have you hit 10's yet

David, what is your price on the 20G TME with an 05 core? What can one expect to gain in terms of driving/output by going with the TME version instead of just the regular 20G?

PRICE WAR! (no, really a joke)

Just kidding, David is "good people"... I do however have an alotment of 10 WR turbos for a group buy price of $1150 with the high pressure actuator...

Sorry David, I couldn't resist since the thread is about both turbos

Unlike Buschur's new pricing, this is just a Zeus deal, and not new FP pricing.

BTW impressive traps David...

Buying the 20G TME is an outright option. Sending in your '05 core won't change the pricing. I would suggest that if you already have an '05 turbo with the 10.5 housing to just upgrade it to the 20G which is only $800.

The difference between the ti/al wheel (TME) is it is going to spool a little faster.

The ET's were disapointing actually, with 122-124 mph trap speeds all night the best ET was an 11.45. The car has gone 11.3 before, not sure what was with the ET's.

For those of you that missed it Boltz said the turbo surges all the time and he wanted his $150 refund to keep his mouth shut.

I don't actually want that fact kept quiet. I don't want phone calls or e-mails with complaints. I think I have made it quite clear that this turbo will surge. It seems as though guys running a lighter spring'd BOV don't have the problems. My car is set up with the heaviest spring I could get in it.

Again, here is the warning:

IF YOU ARE GOING TO ROAD RACE OR DRIVE LIKE A ROAD RACER THE TURBO WILL SURGE. THIS MEANS PART THROTTLE HIGH BOOST WILL CAUSE IT TO SURGE.

IF YOU ARE LUGGING THE CAR ALONG AT 3,000 RPM IN 5TH GEAR AND JUST FLOOR THE THROTTLE AS THE TURBO BUILDS BOOST IT WILL SURGE.

TWO solutions:
#1 Use a lighter wastegate spring.
#2 Downshift so the RPM is higher when you floor it and it won't surge.

I was honest about the surging from the day I finally felt we had a good turbo to release. I still feel this is the best bolt on turbo for an EVO. 124 mph trap speeds at 22-23 psi of boost is no joke.

Dave, as always straight up with no B.S. cut and dry . For the record you did mention the surge issue and people were WELL aware of it before you offered them to the public.

On a side note though, this is funny you mention the specifics about the surge. I have a TME turbo and in 5th gear i have the same symptoms. I was going crazy troubleshooting it on and off. I finally ordered another one of your upper pipes with a 1g flange to run a forge bov and i had the same surge issue in 5th gear. So i loaded up my pump gas map and it has seemed to cure it. I was puzzled with this issue, i also was originally using the TIAL bov to begin with and i think i am putting it back in this weekend to see if it will do it again.
