I'd go with the XEDE for any number or reasons, but most importantly because it gets you more than halfway towards being able to safely tune your own car. You either add a wideband meter such as the Innovate LM-1 and log your AFR to make sure the current map is safe, or you go whole-hog and get the SMART system, which makes fine-tuning your car even easier, because you can keep track of the adjustments the system makes and add them to your base map, resulting in a very accurate base map for whatever level of mod your car is currently at.

I like the xede for many reasons. Map switching, launch control, constant innovation efforts, easy to use, end-user tunable.....

plus, you don't need a boost controller with the xede, so that 100 bucks factors into the cost as well.

I have the Xede and SMART system on my Evo and am very happy with the results. Plus i;m having fun learning how to tweak and tune the car safely from info in these forums and vishnu with the datalogging and other info you can extract in real time from the Xede. If you like knowing what is going on with your car I'd go Xede.

I had a Vishnu Xflash and switched to an XEDE. I love the XEDE and highly recommend it based on the fact that you can custom tailor your car for every change you make!
