2.2L vs. 2.3L Stroker Kits
i remember a few of the jdm kits claiming that they didn't use oem parts. i'm assuming the 4g64 crank is what they were talking about. are there any aftermarket cranks? i'll probably go with the 4g64 ne way but i was just curious.

AMS, Buschur, Magnus, Road/Race and others out there will all have different ideas of what they like and work best.
Give them a call and they can provide the best recommendations for you.
In the end, go with who you feel most comfortable with.

Also, I believe the Porche Exchange and GRD have a AWDS in Chicago.
Look under the Midwest Region forum for more info about shops and info in Chicago.

For someone like me that does not want to ever replace the motor again, what do you believe are the limits to a Buschur Built 2.3 Stroker Motor? Wouldn't more that 8000rpms really be pushing it.
Would getting the block/rods/pistons/crank cryoed & the rods shot peened / and pistons and crank coated increase the longevity of the motor?
So if I was to get a 4g64 crank what stops me from building my own stroker. Shops like Bushur and AMS, what do they have thats so different? Could I just get a 4g64 crank and pick which ever rods and pistons i want and assemble it?
