Holds boost better. The USDM diverter valve is plastic, the JDM diverter valve is metal.

Next time though, search.

not really, maybe a little louder. I have 0 issues with mine. I thought my stocker was doing a good job until I switched and noticed the MR holds alot better.

i had the part throttle issue with it before but got rid of it.not sure if its gonna help the other guys but i use an mbc and i noticed that the longer the tubing for it the more you feel the stuttering feel of it.so i trimmed it as short as i can between the T from the intake manifold and bov line.hope this helps for people that has problems with it.

now back on topic the JDM mr dv would hold boost more consistent specially on higher psi than the stock dv.

Its just for holding more boost, it doesnt do anything really for sound. Ive had it, gave me numerous problems, so I got the aps valve which drives like stock, holds as much boost as you throw at it, but has a nice sound to it.

My MR valve is perfect in all situations. Sound as stock.
Btw, stock air box K&N drop in air filter.

Er, why is that bad?? I'm currently current PowerFC with a MAP sensor and venting to air. When I ask my mechanic why not route it back, he says there's no difference since I'm not using the stock MAF now.
