Yes this is normal. the larger piping causes a decreace in pressure. A boost controller would solve this.

Did you have the same problem, and even that its marking at 12psi is the turbo actualy working harder? and with the MBC if I make it to 19psi would the turbo be working at 23psi or more I hope you understand my question

I do not have the Helix kit, at least not yet. I have read on the forums that this is a normal occurance. Your boost drop was more than what most experience, so your best bet is to check all the connections for leaks. I understand what you mean by the turbo working harder if you turn up the boost, but i have no idea if this is true or not.

Was the BOV in before the install or was this added with the new mod. Try putting it in the right way and see what happens.

I would try putting the stock BOV back on if you can. Because 7psi is a bigger decrease than normal, normally <3 psi is what i have heard. I cant think of any thing else that would cause this.

When I put on the pipes I didnt get any boost drop. Some people say 1-2psi, thats realistic, if your boost is going down to 12psi, there is a major boost leak. You must do a boost test, not sure if you have a compressor but find someone who does and do one. When I installed IC pipes, I always do boost test after, and i ALWAYS find leaks.
