Unhappy Ticking noise from 5-10mph only?! help please

Hey guys, just recently I've begun to hear a wierd "ticking" type noise when im accelerating from a stop up to about 10 or 15 mph only. It sounds like it is coming from the driver's side front tire area and has been going on for a little over a week now. I got under the car to see if i could notice anything that looked abnormal but noticed nothing.(though i'm no mechanic) I also rotated my wheels the from front to back to see if the wheels were the problem but the noise is still present from the same area.

As a wierd description of the noise, I would say that it sounds like the big wheel in the wheel of fortune when it is spinning and hitting the marker everytime it turns.

I was hoping it would be something related to my wheels/tires becuase I had just recently replaced my tires, but evidently that is not the problem. I am just scared that it has something to do with my tranny or axles. Anyways, if anyone has had a similar problem or has any idea as to what the problem might be I would greatly appreciate any thoughts of help. Thanks in advance...

-Joe

lol yeah i know about the lifter ticking and i can hear that as well, haha. But this doesn't sound like it's coming from the motor. It sounds like it is coming from the drivers side front wheel area. I've had people in my car when it happens and they say they can't hear anything on the passenger side. It's also a lot louder than the lifter ticking noise and it stops by the time i hit about 10 or 15 mph.

And to answer your question, yes i do have an aftermarket bov. What effects do you think that would have in order to create a noise like this?

That actually happens sometimes when a rock or something that gets stuck on the tire everytime the wheel turns, it would make this tapping or ticking noise.

That was initiallyone of my first impressions, thus the reason I rotated the wheels from the front to back. I also examined the front wheel for a rock or nail when i had it off and saw nothing. The noise was still persistant from the same area even after rotating.

I have the same noise coming from the front tire area. I began to notice the noise after i had my Hks rs intake or my EBC installed. I cant remember exactly when it started. I get it in every gear before the onset of full boost.

I think I have this "clicking." Sometimes I think it's the fan, but I turn the fan to zero and it's still there. I have an aftermarket clutch. It's intermitent, though.
