Buschur Race Chip Install??

I just received a Buschur "race chip" and was wondering if anyone knows how to install it or where it goes. It didn't come w/ any directions and I have no clue where it would go. Any help is much appreciated

between the thermistor (temp sensor) and the ecu. hack it into the wire.
(kinda sucks to have paid ~$15 for what's in your hand, huh?)

Thanks, and yes I was expecting more when I opened the box. But if it gives me some more power when I go to the track I guess it is worth it

I emailed David Buschur himself on this as well because mine came with no instructions. According to him, unplug the temp sensor and then stick one prong in the end of the sensor outlet then the other in the other outlet ( kind of like sticking it in a home electrical outlet). Tape it to stay in there and you don't have to cut any wires or splice. I have not tried mine yet, I am curious to see how it benefits your times and traps

JUst curious as to what CEL you guys are seeing with this mod? Also anyone know what resistor value is use that causes this CEL. I'm just trying to see if there's a way to avoid the CEL. Also can someone PM or post up a picture of it.

Thanks.

I never got it CEL, logging showed it held the temp at 189*. I think I am going to wire in a DPDT switch and just toggle from chip to sensor.

So no CEL. Do you wire it up before starting the car? I thought unplugging that sensor while the car is running will throw a cel and kick on the fan.

I don't like to unplug anything when it has power to it so it was put in when the car was turned off.

I am going to do some wide band logging with the chip in the next week or so to see how much the afr's change, I am thinking of using a mil spec pot to change resistance/temp the ecu see's.

I think you have to put this chip in after the car has warmed up ( key off while un-plugging the sensor ). Or else you'll be in closed loop where you should be in open loop on a cold engine.

Code(s) probably a P0115 or a P0118
