Max bore for 4G63 stroker?

In the process of having one built, what's the safest max over bore for a 4G63 block? My engine builder wants to do .040 over.

Thanks

For something that has been talked about a lot before, I'm having a hard time find the answer.

Thanks for your time though.

jon, call jackson auto machine & speak to carmella jackson (410.859.3269), I know they have sonic tested evo blocks & can tell you a real word number.

Unless someone has cut up several bores to measure, sonic testing will be your best bet & they have done it. I recall her telling me that the evo bores are fairly thick....I dont want to mis-speak & tell you somehting that isnt acurate, so give her a call.

I am not an expert by any means, but I believe anything over 87MM would really be pushing it. Also, I don't know of any headgaskets bigger then that.

I believe only Cometic offers a 87MM headgasket for a 4g63.
