Another example of how good 05s are!

My friend has an 05 Evo GSR. He went to the dyno(mustang dyno) at Central Florida Turbo, and did 287AWHP and 289AWTQ!!!! Btw this was a 3rd gear pull
Mods:

TBE
Hks intake

Stock ecu, stock boost, stock cat and stock clutch. These are very impressive numbers. Cant wait to dyno mine

Nice but I recommend going to a different place and verify your numbers. Some dyno numbers are inflated.

Yeah, I'd get a second opinion just to back it up - and maybe go to the track and see where the traps are which would be the true test of #s, but still, I'm sure it's quite strong. My '03 when I had the same mods put down 255h/265t (usually about 230 stock) and then with Dynoflash and boost jumped to 300/325 I'm sure the '05's at least 10 more than where mine was at the same point!

I'll be dynoing my current setup this Sat and it will be side by side with an 05 MR with the same mods I have, so that will be very interesting to see the difference. We're about the same on the street as far as pulling.

Don't MustangDynos have more user controllable input variables, thus making them quite varying from dyno to dyno? I have seen #s all over the place from those. Not as bad as Dynojet, but nowhere near the consistency of DD or even Dynapack...

Those are pretty high numbers for a fairly stock 05. Most stockish 05s that dyno here come out to around 220whp with CA 91 octane.

That sounds pretty high for being mostly stock....

I got 240whp on the Mustang by me and I have 3" turbo back, Intake filter kit, hallman mbc at 22psi max, and a custom dyno flash.

I don't think the difference between 03 and 05 is that huge.

No, it's not accurate. I put out lower numbers on a Dynojet in my MR while running 12.6s. Granted, I only had a cat-back and not a TBE, but I was tuned and had an MBC set to 21psi. Untuned with an HKS RS, we all know he isn't putting down 287 on a real Mustang dyno...

That would be equivalent to about 320 on a Dynojet, which is good for around a 12.2 at 111. Send him to the track to verify this so-called "accurate" dyno.

Im gonna have to llok at his dyno sheet to see the weight and other factors that might have made the numbers inflated. It may have not been calibrated correctly
