Dynotuned at BR.....

Well went to BR for a dyno flash tune with the alky kit this past Friday.
All the guys at BR were friendly, helpful, and top notch . Would recommend them to anyone.

Not sure what the numbers will equate
to on a dynojet or other mustang dyno since BR dyno reads low but final number was 304 hp, 301 tq. I believe A/F was at 11 and boost at 25 psi. Maybe boost could of been higher and A\F leaner but I wanted to be safe. Car feels great and pull strong. My mod is bascially BR S4 with alky kit. I was previous dynoflashed and all I added was the alky kit using denature alcohol and 93 octane gas..

I'm not sure but there might be something wrong with the baseline run or with my car (bov, exhaust leak) in case you guys were comparing. I'll let you guys decide whether this is low or not.

what was wrong with the car. looks like it fell on its face after 5500rpm.
did it drop boost or ???(baseline graph)
I've seen this torque with pump gas and around 22psi peak boost.

JUst got clarification and it looks like the baseline run was with the alky kit on (tested) and no tune so it was running rich.

Just curious but was the number you saw on a MD? FRom what I hear BR seems to be low but accurate. Car runs great. I hope I can make it to the track soon. I just need to get the ACT clutch lock-out fix first. Planning to run like it was dyno with full weight, spare tire, etc

Thanks.

I agree and that's why I was more concern about the before and after numbers but in my case not sure if I can really tell the difference but I'm guessing 30,30 .

That looks about right, but I would say it is much more than that at redline, maybe close to 60,60 or more. It is just hard to say with you before.

Were you the last tune? Silver subi? I feel like an asshat now for not talking to ya.

Add around 15% to get dynojet numbers. Curve looks pretty nice

We were talking about the increase in HP\Tq of the baseline vs the final numbers

Sorry that wasn't me. I was the first one tuned on Friday. But yeah you should have talked to silver subi. I had a great conversation with XXX. Forgot his user name in here.

15%?? So that means my final number is about 350 Hp\340 TQ on a dyno jet?? COuld be but strange. There could be something wrong with my car then cause I think other cars with similar mods be posting numbers higher then me Or It also could be that dyno varies Also I was suprise to see HP and TQ being about the same. From dyno charts that I saw with alky usually one is higher then the other. In any case I'm a happy customer

3625 pounds? Does that seem kind of high? Really good numbers on BR dyno.

15% is just a general number.. depending on who you ask you will get anywhere from 10-20%. I don't think there is any 100% accurate way of determining it.. but I'm not that worried about it.

Doing some comparisons from our old 2wd Dynojet to our new AWD MD, there is very close to an 18% difference.

The 3625 and 15.1 HP @50 mph are the settings that Mustang supplies for the car. To keep things even we use the same settings on each car. I am guessing they derived their numbers for a car plus 1-2 passengers. We have messed with this number and haven't found any difference in the tune of the car and the HP numbers don't change much either.
