buschur racing cat back fit ?

I just installed a buschur 3 inch cat back and dp with high flow. It sounds really good but the tip seems like it sticks out too far. At least 1 inch past the stock. The straight pipe is going inside the cat; how far is it supposed to slide in? Can someone who has installed one tell me if its supposed to stick out that far.

Thanks
Nick

make sure your rear muffler is shoved un all the way. Typically they stick out more than stock it helps to keep the black build up off your bumper

I have the opposite problem with my SCCA catback. It doesn't stick out far enough. I can probably adjust it but I think the tip would be too close to the bumper then. I'll just wipe the carbon off every now and then.

its a slip type exhaust system, make sure the muffler part slips over the long mid pipe and the high flow cat over the mid pipe a good almost 2" each. I've installed many of these and all came out perfect. Done tighten anything until you have it where you want it. should look stock.

Thumbs up

Just re-aligned mine this past weekend. Loosen the clamp around the slip fitting, make sure the muffler is aligned with the mid-pipe and tap the muffler tip with a rubber mallet. It will line up with rear bumper. Mine had stuck out about 2". Looks great now.
