Megan Racing 3" TB install w/pics
^^ I have the same markings on my driveshaft and I remember it hitting it a few times. I don't have a grinder to grind down the flange so I installed the kartboy poly hangers and moved the muffler as far awayfromthe driveshaft as possible and I don't think it's touched it since.
Still would like to grind that thing down though. It scares me being that close to the driveshaft.
Have not had any problem with the tip falling off yet lol.

ARe there any soundclips available? I'm considering purchasing the tbe, but I want to here this first. I'm torn between this exhaust, and the hks cf ti with downpipe, because I love the sound of the hks. Thanks

Here is an update after 3 months and about 10,000 miles. Over all the exhaust is still a great bang for the buck considering what other mods are out there. In terms of power it took my car w/o a tune and only using an AFC to trapping 103-104 to 108-109 MPH in the 1/4. Could probably get more out if it with a flash or something but thats further down the road.
Couple of thing I don't like about the exhaust, maybe megan has fixed these already... I don't know.
The downpipe was banging on one of the lower tie bars during slow take offs. It got to be so loud and annoying that i removed the bar. At first I thought it was my clutch because I have a twin disk but that wasn't the case. I think there are 2 things that could maybe eliminate this, one is having no flex section in the DP and the other would be solid engine/tranny mounts all around.
The second and probaly most annoying thing is the fact that the flange on the mid-pipe is rubbing against the drive shaft. For some strange reason I can't seem to figure out it only happens when its raining and I drive threw a puddle on the passenger side
. When it happens though it sounds like I'm draging an anchor with me its so loud. This winter I'm take it off and grind down the flange like others have done and hopefully that will cure the problem.
Overall I still would recommend this exhaust though. I have their o2 housing sitting in my basement ready to go on as soon as I get some more time.
