Like Buschur units and others, I had to do a little adjusting to clear everything. However, there was no magic involved. I managed to clear everything without grinding anything.

hey guys- I put together two short vids of my car with the Megan Catback to show you guys the sound of it at idle and rev. Keep in mind I have a B&B cat delete and an Agency Power Downpipe- so this is not a TRUE Megan Turboback application but it IS a Megan catback and should sound very similar to the turboback application.

Enjoy:

lol... hmmmm Well I could do one from inside the car really easy. But it would be a little harder to do a fly by. I'll see what I can do.

hehe, I'll see what I can do. I think if I have my fiance stand with the cam and tape a launch from the back, and then a fly by while standing still- that should give a good idea of how it will sound at WOT and during actual driving conditions.

We have one Megan catback left from an emergency shipment. Then it is backordered again for at least 1.5 weeks or longer. PM for details.

Great product. Been on the shop 2005 MR for about a year now.

Yes, with the backorder going on, it's been hell keeping up with supply on these... I just had 6 turbo backs go out today on an order of 10 that was air'd into the states. I had to have a sign up list to pre order those. These were the first ones with the new revisions. Looks like I'm back to pre ordering them again for the next 50 to hit the states the end of this month. The revisions are pretty basic, but make for an over all nicer package.

AlwaysinBoost, wish these would have been available when you ordered, but these revisions were brought about by yours truly

Listen AND respond to feedback, that is great customer service Zeus!

I'm still pretty happy with my exhaust, as long as the "revisions" to change the power output I won't be losing any sleep. Keep up the good work.

Agreed, we have had Steve fix the test pipes to remove the taper. We have also advised him to turn the intermediate pipe flange so that it does not ever contact the driveshaft as the current version sometimes does. We also have them working on affixing the tip in a fashion that does not allow it to rattle loose as they do after time. The newer versions should eventually be perfected.

Sounds like you guys are with me on those issues... I made those suggestions also back when I started carrying these a year or so ago. I just sent out to customers the first group of units that have the revised hangars, welded tips, etc. Of course the delete pipe issue was hashed out here in the open forums. There is a pic of the results of my suggestion for the hangars attached below (pic of the actual new Megan piece). I'm sure since you are working with Calvin and Steve too, you were aware of this and the incorrect hardware issues. At Calvin's request I sent them a complete package of what is to be included in every shipment to keep the customers from having to source any hardware themselves. Let me know what you think.

Truth be told, they have probably heard about it for a while. Last I spoke to them they stated they heard about some issues but no one ever offered up any solutions or photos. Maybe doubletalk, I dunno. I know I sent them these photos as well as a video of the loose tip I have re-riveted 3 times. Also sent them instructions on how to fix the issues.
