I know what a catback exhaust is lol. I'm not saying the catback is hitting. I'm saying that as soon as I installed the catback the DP started to rattle. This is in no way "blaming" the megan exhaust. I love it. I have used megan products for years.

Throwing off the fitment even .5' can cause rattle. I just want the rattle to go away lol.

I just found out last weekend that I'm getting slight rattle from the DP also. It seems to be hitting the front sway bar. I'm just going to remove the DP this weekend and wrap the spot its vibrating on with some dynamat.

I'd really like to hear a sound clip of this exhaust before I bite. So far the best TBE I've heard is the Logic Performance system which is the same price as the Megan but I can't comment on it's build or fitment quality.
Anyone have a soundclip of the Megan? Thanks

yeap, got one on my MR...not sure if my resonator is a 2" or not, but I'm loving it...the extra o2 bung hole is a PLUS(especially for wideband)...the only problem I encountered was the bolts for the (2) hangers in the rear...It didn't come with them, so I had to buy the bolts/nuts from Ace Hardware for under $3-4....not too shabby, especially for the price I paid....definately 2 THUMBS UP in my books!!

Seems to be a lot of small issues with this system but everyone that has one doesn't seem to mind. Interesting. Maybe I'll hold out another couple weeks to see if the changes/improvements to the system worked.
I'd still like to hear a sound clip!

Even though I just have the catback (other straight pipe and downpip) I'll try to get a short vid of idle and rev.

well I received my 3" resinator in the mail from Megan this week. Just like the rest of the system this piece also looks great.

here is a shot of the new 3" (left) next to the old 2" (right). Only noticable difference I could tell from the outside is that the 3" has a shorter barrel section

ID of the 3" next to the 2"

Haven't driven the car since I installed the new unit since its been raining like a **** but I'll post a quick review when I do. That should complete this post and hopefully it answered some questions.

I know some people asked for a sound clip of the exhaust. If I had a digi recorder I would make a video but i don't. Besides that I highly doubt the sound would accuratley be reproduced on normal PC speakers.

I have the same set-up. Installed it two weeks ago. I noticed the gas mileage thing also. Fantastic pipe. Agree that Megan has great customer service. I called and asked if I could get another sticker cause I only got one. The sent me five (FREE). I know it's small but those are the things that count. Sorry Zues but I ordered mine new from EBStores on ebay for $475 shipped.

One thing though. Make sure you have alternate hanging hardware before installing this. The stock gear won't work. I had to drive to Home Depot at 7am with open exhaust from the cat-back. WWWEEEEEE

When you mentioned hardware, are you talking about the supplied nuts and bolts or something else (hangers, etc.)?
Zeus, this issue has been brought up before. Is this one of the 'fixes' Megan was asked to address?
$475.00 shipped! That is cheap! Is that turbo-back? Thanks,

Just nuts and bolts... hangars are a part of the exhaust it self...

On another note... I've asked Megan to look at the pricing structure... I should be able to match any pricing. However, pricing notably less than mine may come under Megan's scrutiny.
