No, but if it has a quife ft. diff, drag slicks, level 5 axles, de-weighted, then maybe yes...or then again maybe not.

 

Isn't the EVO V pretty light to begin with? Still you need to be a very, very good driver, slicks and a 1.5 or lower launch, and great conditions to hit 10s with 475WHP even with an EVO V. Possible yes, but very difficult indeed.

The original poster specificly said with a 1.7 short time. With a 1.7 no chance in hell of hitting 10's, let alone 10.6 wih only 475.

that was wayyyyyy back 2000 or 2001. now, the same car made a record high of 10.2 on a new jun 2.2 stroker.
