475 WHP on dynojet, 10's possible?

I was just curious if its possible to hit a 10.60-10.8 1/4 mile time on an EVO making a peak of 475 WHP (and good driving) with a 1.7 60' time???

I plan on keeping my 05 EVO's bottom end stock, and using Turbotrix's T3/T4 Innovative Turbo kit...

475WHP on dynojet would get you about 124-125mph in a full weight evo8. Curt Brown went 10.9 with 124mph, but that was with a low 1.5 60'. with a 1.7 and still great shifting (but not Brown shifting), the ET would be in the 11.3-11.4 range.

IMHO you would nee a 1.4 or better to see 10.8 - 10.6 with only 125mph.

your going to need far more power than 475 at the wheels to see 10.6-10.8. If you got a 1.7 short time, a 10.8 ET would be over 130mph. 130mph+ is BIG power.

No, 475 won't get you there. 485whp on a dynojet only got IE Evo 11.6 at 122.8 in a full weight Evo. Good luck though...

yes it is possible. an evo 5 of Autoplus hit 10.917 at 480whp, high temp weather condition, and done on a drag "street" (meaning all gravel with no VHT).

that is very, very impressive considering you're still on the stock engine. MAD PROPS, Dave.
