problem with greddy turbo timer

i recently just got some gauges installed from a reputable shop, but before that the shop had sent me to a muffler shop to get a bung welded to my downpipe. i noticed one of the muffler guys hit a button my my turbo time and it just shut my car off. but my question is now how the hell or why the hell is it counting up so high all the way to 8 mins to and wont go and count back down. if anybody has had this problem let me know because im trying to solve it asap.

well the greddy site has no info on their products other then what it does, second my turbo timer was working perfectly fine until that fat slob at the muffler shop touched it. and third it goes way to high even when at idle sitting still. it never did that before. so i either have to get it fixed this weekend or just get a new turbo timer.
