Air in the cooling system

Air in the cooling system

I was wondering how some of you guys get all the air out of your cooling system.

leave the radiator cap off while the car is running, will see the bubbles purcalate. when the bubbles, stop, air is out of the system.

you know that you do this at start-up, and with the car Stationary until the job is done correct?
