Bah, nothing is a requirement, man. That's just semantics. You can add any mod and not "require" a tune, but without one, the car won't run as well as it should, and often not as well as stock.

Don't lead these newbies astray with your untuned aftermarket intake crusade, please.

It's not a requirement, but many people have lost power without having theirs tuned.

The HKS has to be replaced each time. The K&N is reusable/washable, so you never have to buy a new one. Same with the Works drop-in, which actually has more filter surface area...

i just put helix intake on my car and it kinda messed my idle up a lil and im not tuned yet also. Anyone else have this problem when putting on a full intake
