I have yet to see someone make over ~630fwhp on a 35R. I made close to 500crank on 22psi on my Eclipse, (less refined head). Very capable turbo...

stock motor besides cams and headbolts , pump gas with meth injection , stock ignition with one step colder plugs, stock intake manifold and throttle body... the dyno was 30psi and track run was 28-29psi (had to keep it low since ignition was breaking up)....BTW 8500 rpm redline all the time now...was set at 8000 on the dyno but we didn't even go that high... but i need almost 8400rpms in 4th at the strip for the almost 130mph traps... i race the car alot also!

Your still on stock block right EVODAVE? Because if so That Fkn amazing. These cars find a way to impress me daily. Any signs of busting ? Not to Jinx you but wondering if you've noticed any adverse signs of wear because of those power levels.

Thats stock motor ....only thing done is cams and headbolts ( never even removed the head to do it so stock headgasket also) did the one at a time install. STock intake manifold, stock throttle body, stock head , stock bottom end, stock ignition stock tranny and tcase....the only thing i have been breaking are the stock front diffs in the Tcase.... that is just from racing though. I am getting a ralliart unit installed at TRE right now. BTW those numbers are how i drive the car everyday its in use....now more no less except 28 psi instead of 30psi to run the 129mph trap speeds when i ran the 11.1 . I would have ran more but the ignition was breaking up spark. That is reving to 8500rpms....it took a while to get the ***** to do that all the time but it seems ok so far . Our cars are soooooo overly built its amazing!! Be proud to own a evo guys....be proud !

since u guy have that turbo kit, can i ask how much did u guyz pay for them and where?

i live in Socal, and RnR is the place that close to me and seem to have a very good deal.

But i read some thread that relate to them and not very good thing going on.
i don't mean to jump on them and say any bad thing because i'm not really know the detail anyway.

but for some guy like G20 that purchased from them before, Can you tell me how that work out?

and some other guy that bought from other place please tell me ur experience,
It will be nice for me to decide..
thx u guyz

I have a good transaction with them. Basically, argree on pricing, bring the car down on Thursday, Ryan took me to get the rent-a-car to drive home, come back on next Tuesday (suppose to be Monday but there were some minor issues) and pick the car up with SAFC installed to trim out the fuel from the 780 injectors to drive home (no boosting), tuned and go to drag since then.

I can't comment on the mail-order cases since I never do that with RNR. The kit I got is including intercooler, downpipe, up and low pipes, intake and injectors. The kit seem to be very reliable since I have it for almost a year and done lot of drags and 2 tracks with it. The power is there but I'm not a good enough driver to take it there (12.2 / 123 mph) but I'm slowly there .

Just make sure you're getting GT35r. I refered a friend to get the kit and for some reason he got the low-end kit (not the 30r nor 35r) and he was not too happy with it. Hope it helps you. Have a great day.

We have built over 30 EVO's with turbo kits, motors, EMS, etc. Anywhere from 400whp-700whp can be done. Yes, we have had long lead times in the past(6-12 months ago) because we can never keep up with the demand.

We have done a lot of stock 2.0/GT35R EVO set ups because it is a popular set up. There is a little bit of lag, but nothing unbearable at all. We really like the AEM EMS because you can make so much more power with it and we have one of the best tuners on the West Coast.

We recently did an EVO with a stock 2.0,GT35R, AEM EMS. The car made 450whp on 91 octane on our local 4wheel dyno. The car is an absolute blast to drive and runs perfect. 450whp on 91 octane is really hard to do an it isn't done very often with a stock head, stock bottom end, stock tb, etc.

Oh ya, full boost by 4500rpm on a 2.0 and you can rev it to 9K once you have the proper supporting mods.

RnR,

is that with meth, water, alcohol injection or any other hinderance like that?

because that's a pretty stout number for 91 octance

Ya, we were actually surprised by the number. It is a lot of power for straight 91. We spent a lot of time tuning it on the street. Then we sent it to the Dyno Dynamics 4 wheel dyno and it put out 449whp on the 1st pull at 23psi or so. The tune was still perfect so after another pull we took it off. The customer has had the car for about a month, but we haven't done a race gas tune yet. It is a Yellow 03 EVO down here in SD.

We made 522 awhp on my GT35R (stock block) without the stroker. It ran 11.2 the first pass we made (we only made 3 in the car before we got a stroker). It didn't bother me at all. I mean there was a little lag, but I really didn't notice it all that much. I now have a stroker and to be honest, I feel it spools a little too quick. I think I'm going to have to get longer gears, too because it's revved out at 80 mph.

what do you mean by less refined head?...The 1G has a superior head to the EVO...

Check my sig. *I* have a 2G with a stock motor. Also I find it hard to believe a 1G has a better head than an Evo -stock to stock. I would still assume a WORKED 1G vs. Evo head, the Evo head would flow more..
