i hate my act clutch

i wish i would have read about the problems with these clutches , ill be racing around go to a 7000rpm shift and bamn, im locked out of the next gear this sux.
not only that, it is imberrising if u got someone with u , or u are racing someone.if i shift it at 6500rpm it ****s like butter...
has act figured out y this clutch does this???
wish i would of bought a twin disk!!!!!

happened to me as well....
i believe ACT is workin to figure out what's causing it.


I cant wait for that so i took it out and went twin disc....got no problems now

god, im so fed up with mine. I think im just gonna go the twin plate route once i get some cash.

Mine's fine, 11,000 miles, can shift at 7700 rpms...but I'm sure you don't want to hear about that.

Had mine installed @ RRE. If I ever have a problem (like Warrtalon) I'll take it back ASAP.

i installed and adjusted mine myself (i own a shop), no shift lock out ever! the best clutch yet on my car.

shifting at above 7000 rpm's is MUCH better than stock.

mine was fine until about 8k miles then it went bad. I had ams install mine, so i trust their quality.

Take it back to AMS have them adjust it and be done . Coming onto a forum and complaining about it will NOT fix your problem.

My ACT did the same thing. Took it too RRE and now its as great as it ever was.

just got it back today from having them try to fix it, and its still locking me out of gears.

I didnt read it, i just seen that the act guy on the forums posted it

I also find it hard to believe that ams couldnt fix it

I doubt RRE and winston are the only ones that can do this
