Angry ARC Intake, and RAIN!!!

Hello, I have an ARC Intake on my evo, and right now It is pouring rain outside. Im willing to deal with whatever damage the rain is doing right now but the air box sits under the hole in the hood, therefore it is soaking wet. My question is, what kind of damage can I expect and what can I do to make the car so I can drive it in the rain?!! I know this is bad so please give me some feedback on this. Whatever I can do, I plan on doing tomorrow when I havent been drinking to fix this. Thanks guys!

a little water wont hurt...as long as u dont have a flood inside ur intake or a lot of turbo into ur turbo, ur fine. BTW, they sell ARC induction boxes.

did you take your rain cover off?
the arc sits to the right of the hole in the hood. it shouldnt get soaked
but just try to stay off the boost when you are driving in the rain

If I'm not mistaken the ARC induction box's filter element is ON TOP and ON THE SIDE.

If water were to pour in, it would go right through the top filter element INTO the box.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Ok well, I took that stupid metal thing with the slats on it off the car, and I dont have it any more. The intake sits where just part of it is exposed but when it rains the top filter gets real wet, and now that it has been raining it is soaked and I dont even know what kind of damage that will do but yeah it sucks. Im thinking about getting a plate made by the local off road shop to cover up the intake just on the side where the water hits it....Right now I got it parked with a dish plate from the kitchen laying on top of the intake but this sucks because the car is worthless right now, and im in washington. It will prob be raining every day for the next 4 or 5 months....

Umm, no thanks but the "rain cover" doesent do crap because it has slits in it, and when it was on the car the intake still got wet when i was driving the car. I can only think of getting an air box thats enclosed or just a quick fabricated plate to cover the intake....
