New dyno plots with w/r turbo and AEM vs. stock turbo!!

Well here are the dyno graphs. Same car, same tuner, same 94 octane, same afr's, very similiar boost. Difference is FP white rabbit turbo and aem. So i picked up 46hp and 34tq

I honestly did not think i would crack 300 on 94 on this Mustang dyno as it reads very low! but i was very surprised. This was the first w/r turbo my tuner had seen and at first he was very skeptical, but in the end he was very impressed and said he really liked the turbo. He had been trying to get me to buy a gt30 turbo but in the end he said i made a great decision! I think so lol. It heald boost rock solid although we weren't even pushing it. This was only 22psi. For a comparison my old setup only made 282hp and 310 tq on c16 at 26 psi....which i ran a 12.33 at 110mph in 95 deg. heat.....and now my 94 octane map beats that!!!!

No surging whatsover, just ultrasmooth power! This car is so much fun to drive!! very few people have cracked 300 hp on this dyno on 94 gas (and they all had big turbo kits) so i am very happy! I can't wait to see what it will do on Meth. In about a week we will tune it for meth as we just ran out of time today. We are thinking 340-350 on Meth.

Sorry that i can't get the graphs overlayed. The numbers are 313hp/306tq vs. 267hp/272tq (stock turbo, and custom utec tune)

Awesome job on this turbo Robert !

Did you have the AEM before the W/R install. I only ask becuase I have seen the AEM alone added to a Ecu flashed Evo make around 30-50more whp on another type of dyno.

before the w/r install i had the utec which was custom tuned...thats what the graph shows. The old custom tune to the new one.

I know its not a perfect comparison....because the fact i DID add the aem at the same time. But still, i think its some good info that hasn't really been seen yet. And yes this w/r has the high perf. actuator.

Please don't think i am tring to say that i made those power gains with just the turbo b/c i know the aem helped....

the aem probably didnt make much over the utec tho. good gains with the w/r considering spool.

I love seeing realistic dyno numbers like this where although they APPEAR TO BE LOW, the owner has track times to back them up. You see people claiming 335whp on Mustang Dyno's with less mods than you while on 93oct and actually believing it, then you have others like us who have much lower dyno numbers, yet rip the track to shreds. You can probably go out right now on 94oct and run 113mph traps, then maybe 116-117 on C16.

Yeah, i am very happy. I wanted to post up a dyno graph of my old setup so people could see what i gained, and not discredit it for being "low" numbers.

warrtalon - thanks man, i still don't know how you run those times with such few mods lol.

Yeah, i would love to run a 11 on a 94 octane map....can't wait to tune for meth...

Well, I certainly wouldn't be this close to 11s if I was just on 94oct, that's for sure. YOu have a very realistic chance at the 12.0 barrier on 94, and then easy 11s (with decent driving) on C16.

I probably should have done some pump gas runs last night in the cool weather just to see if I could trap 110 in the 12.3 area, but I didn't feel like wasting any runs.
