Accidently hit 29psi, did i hurt anything?

The other day i was installing a Hallman ES MBC on my stock 05 evo and stupid me let my friend connect the lines to the MBC and he mixed them up. The boost was going to the side port and the wastegate line was going to bottom port. Well thinking it was ok to go see how much boost it was set at and start adjusting it i started in 3rd gear at about 2k RPM and floored it. Once i hit about 3500RPM i saw the gauge hit 29psi then fuel cut came into play and saved me. After that happend the car ran fine but am worried i might have damaged something by doing that. This only happened once then i reset the ECU and corrected the lines. FYI my car was totally stock except a UR 2.5" test pipe when this happened. Let me know if i should worry.......

nah, I wouldn't

Have you noticed anything different ? Prolly not.

You could be super anally retentive and have it's compression checked but I doubt you need to

Ff you hit fuel cut I won't worry about it. The reason you don't see people on this board complaining about blown motors is because the stock ecu has allot of safety features.

Ok good, and FYI no spark knock was heard when that happened so that was a plus also.

The only thing i notice after this happened was that when the car is idleing every couple seconds (about 5) i hear a slight stumble or pop come out of the exhaust. Its really not noticable unless u are listening for it, and is not noticable from inside the car. For all i know it might have done this before i hit 29psi but never noticed. Second, i now have a Turbotrix base reflash, so this might also be causeing that. Im sure its nothing but figure i should still ask about this also.

fuel cut is there for a reason, so you dont lean out and blow stuff up. even old *** dsm's and galants do that if you flow too much air. you should be fine.
