IT should still be covered under warranty though.

 

The recall is on the turbo coolant hose which i think its in the front. The coolant was leaking on the passenger side when we tried refilling it back up. I dont think its the recall and i think its something else. I just called the dealer and they still havent gotten to my car and its been there since yesterday at 6pm

 

On another note, I did check the oil and did not find any traces of coolant in it.The coolant and water was leakin from the passenger side and not from the head, so this might be a good sign that the head gasket wasnt blown

 

did you not even get under the car and see where it was leaking from?

I would bet that it's the freeze plug for the number 1 cylinder on the back side of the block. There are 4 plugs on front and 4 on the back. If you reach around under the intake manifold, you can feel the plugs.

 

got some good news!!!!!! Its the water pump that broke, the plug came out. They have ordered a new one and it will be here tomorrow. Im so happy it was not a head gasket or anything like that!!!!

 

it was the head gasket that made it pop out!your cylinder pressure skyrocketed and sent a little pressure into your coolant system. I would suggest keeping an eye on your overflow and think about a new gasket and arp's in the near future or it will happen again. mine popped out, but i was lucky enough to find it so i put it back in with some JBWeld. Well after about a thousand miles the seal in the pump blew out cuz of the headgasket seeping under boost.

 

Waiting on the dealer to fix the car, it should be done today!! I hope so I miss my car already

 

Well, not getting the car back till friday. There was a belt also that broke and its not reusable. It was too late to get it overnighted for tomorrow. This sucks!! At least they gave me a loaner till the car gets done

 

omg coolant leaking??? you shoulda got a VTA BOV , that would have solved the problem pronto!

Well, i get my car back tomorow!!! Just for those of you with 05's, theres a tsb out for the water pump and what happened to my car,just FYI

 

man if its not one thing its the other this water pump thing has been a issue for a while there are a few other people out here that have the same problem. im just going to shake my head man u should have keep your 03. i do agree with the other guy all these lil post are kinda dumb if you have a problem see it though then post your long story so that other people can see what the isuse was then they can adress it if it ever comes up. thats just me do what you want its your car your mind all these lil things u post for real is stupid i have to say like i said this is just me i know there are other people out there that think the same and just dont say it since i know you i want to be the one letting u know.
