Coolant leaking everywhere!!

Today i was driving with my friend and the all of a sudden started smoking. So i get out of the car i see smoke coming out of the engine bay. There was coolant everywhere, i could not find where it came out from. Checked all the hoses in the front and where all fine. We put more coolant and water and it leaked it all out right away on the passenger side of the car. What other hoses can i check? I think its a hose bc when we put fluids in the dump out right away!! Need help

i am a little confused.

does it drain out as you are filling it up?? or do you fill it up ...get in and drive down the road ...and then it has leaked out again??

if it is draining out as you are filling it up, you can't find the source??

check the back of the water pump... you may have possibly blown a freeze plug out of it.. this happened to me once and caused my coolant to go everywhere.. hope this helps

o yea don't forget to check the turbo coolant hose that the 05's had a recall on... this also blew on mine causing coolant to go everywhere... (i've had a lot of problems with my cooling system, lol, but it's all good)

That happened to me last week. Scary to see smoke coming out of the engine.

The coolant leaked from a small tear in one of the small hoses going to the throttle body. I replaced it with a hose from Autozone that I had to cut to fit. There are 2 hoses, the leaky one was the upper one.

I had Tuning Technologies order both hoses from a Mitsubishi dealer and they will install them Monday and also flush and replace my coolant.

Hope this helps.

look for a big open hole on the passenger side right above the alternator. same crap happened to me. you blew a little cylinder pressure into your coolant system and tossed out the cap.

Well, i dropped of the car at 6pm bc i couldnt get a damn towing truck till that late. The car will be checked out tomorrow morning. I have gotten a few suggestions but im not liking any of them. Some ppl have told me i might have a blown head gasket, a freeze plug, a seal in the block or the water pump.Im not sure what will happen. I took the car in with mods, they have seen them b4 and have never said anything about it. I hope its the recall for the 05's.I tried putting water back in the radiator and it poured all out by the passenger side. Any more suggestion?!!

Oh and the thing is that, alot of water was coming out and it doenst sound like a small tear in a hose. It sounds like a big hole or a hose is loose completely or anything of the above.
