Oil Leaking from this hole. What is it?

Looking at this picture, just to the right of the Timing Belt, on the side of the valve cover closest to the firewall is a little hole.

It is leaking oil and causes a bit of smoke to come out of my hood in the mornings. What is it and what should I do?

That's a drain for the spark plug area of the valve cover. Pull off the plug cover and figure out where the leak is. (thanks to Timcatz for this info!)

I just changed my valve cover, and there were/are no leaks along the edges or near the spark plugs.

Get a pop up blocker, I don't have any trouble with that.

its hard to tell from those pictures..

Also your description is difficult to follow without good photos, but it is implying the PCV Valve but the photo your showing looks to be too small for it..

BUT, the PCV valve being off, broken, or missing would result in oil coming out and smoking..

Actually.. I recall there being another bracket over on that side, it may just be a threaded hole for a bracket..

New pic with an arrow as to where the hole is. Notice it is not the PCV valve. This is a brand new valve cover. That I installed myself, there is no leaking from any of the seals.

If you spoil oil when you added it to your engine it will end up there.

I'm not that dumb, If I spilt oil it would burn off, and then no problem. This is slight smoke whenever I am stopped all the time.

Ok, nice engine shot. Now go and borrow a camera, not your cell phone, and get a good shot of the leak.

Take it easy man, people are trying to help you. With those ****ty pics you are posting, they are not helping much. Take some better pics and post them up.

I dont know how old your car is, but if your getting an excessive amount of blow by into the crank case and the PCV isnt enough to release the pressure, you might be blowing oil out of the dipstick and onto the valve cover or even from the oil cap. I had this happen to me a few times. I had to change the o-ring on the dip stick and get a catch can so the motor "breathes" better
